Zayn's Digest - May Edition
👋 Hey! I've got 3 🔑 items on my desk: building new schools @GeorgetownU, creating AR tools for special ed students, and leading brand + media strategy @Tech Pod.
The majority of our life is spent in fear. Fear of others, fear of the world, fear of our own abilities.
Fear is a predator to our success and we get frightened at the thought of it.
What most people don’t acknowledge is - the best things in life are placed on the other side of fear.
This newsletter is another chapter of me attacking fear + producing results.
I’m all about efficiency so this is what you can expect in this newsletter.

🔑 items learned in a tweet -
Brainstorming S2 for Foundations + New Reflection
Background: I post my thoughts + ideas in public on a monthly basis through podcasting, writing, tweeting, etc. In May, I released 3 new articles + planned a new season of Foundations.
Foundations Season Two: Concluded Season 1 with 44 total episodes + the tl;dr on Season 1 was - Social Entrepreneurs x Unconventional Storytellers.
Social Entrepreneurs: Amin Shayko, Ishan Gandhi, Easton Lamos
Unconventional Storytellers: Miri Rodriguez, Mikey Diggs, Shobha Dasari
Season 2 is going to take a technical approach to problem solving + will focus on how emerging/deep tech is altering our lives. I believe tech + entertainment are the future. The problem is not enough people know about the details of these industries. You have a computer, you’re reading this newsletter, but do you know how the code was imputed so I could write on substack, did you know the backend of the email process for you to receive this message? We need to stop being spectators in the game of life when we can be players.
Article - Working on Durata (a moonshot company)
TL;DR
The volume and depth of your reflection is indicative of your success.
Reflection makes things live longer. It’s a gold mine for longevity. Because reflection provides you the most authentic + maximal opportunity to review an experience.
